Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using CRP Butler ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Service Description

CRP Butler provides Certificate of Rent Paid (CRP) document preparation and distribution services for Minnesota landlords and property managers. Our services include:

• Data conversion to Minnesota Department of Revenue format
• Document preparation and processing
• Email distribution of CRP documents to renters
• Physical mail delivery of CRP documents (optional)
• Secure document storage via Google Drive

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information for all renters
• Ensure you have the legal right to submit CRPs on behalf of the property owner
• Comply with all applicable Minnesota laws regarding CRP filing
• Maintain the confidentiality of any account credentials
• Not use the Service for any unlawful purpose

4. Payment Terms

Fees for our services are charged per renter and are due at the time of order submission. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Pricing is displayed before checkout and includes:

• Base CRP processing fee per renter
• Email delivery fee per renter (if selected)
• Physical mail delivery fee per renter (if selected)

5. Refund Policy

Refunds may be requested within 24 hours of order submission if processing has not yet begun. Once documents have been submitted to the Minnesota Department of Revenue, refunds are not available. Please contact support for refund requests.

6. Limitation of Liability

CRP Butler provides document preparation services only. We are not responsible for:

• Errors in data provided by users
• Delays or issues with the Minnesota Department of Revenue
• Mail delivery failures beyond our control
• Any tax consequences or penalties arising from CRP filings

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific order in question.

7. Data Accuracy

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of all renter information submitted through our Service. We recommend reviewing all data carefully before submission. CRP Butler does not verify the accuracy of submitted information.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain continuous availability of our Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of CRP Butler are owned by us and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
